Tiananmen is a stark reminder of what happens when people challenge their gov’t’s authority. of course this administration wants to make sure we don’t forget that

The world should never forget and know you can’t deal with these monsters.
China will never allow any form of freedoms for their people and that make life a very sad and difficult one to live.

  3. Tiananmen Square was sad, and it’s an example of how it can happen everywhere.

They quite happily forget things that happen in ‘favourable’ countries

Though if Xi gives trumpty dumpty a car or a 2 nothing happened there…

  6. I wish people spend as much time remembering the Gwangju massarcre as they did Tianmen. Especially since the death toll is about the same, and it was under almost identical conditions with students rebelling.

Why does Tianamen get like 100x more attention?

The thing is, countries prefer that things disappear in history because they themselves have things in their closest. It’s up to people to remember these deeds.
