Hey folks

I’m Amir, a computer scientist/entrepreneur from Norway. I’ve been working in the energy space for years and keep running into the same wall: everything is siloed and fragmented. Every country, every company, every researcher rebuilds the same tools from scratch.

That’s why I started Qubit Foundation — an open-source initiative to build the shared digital infrastructure for the future of energy.

The idea is simple:

Build small, modular, interoperable services (like LEGO blocks) — data connectors, forecasting models, optimization layers, APIs.

Anyone can use them to accelerate clean energy solutions: from microgrids to EV charging to smart buildings.

A global community of devs, researchers, and tinkerers can contribute and build together.

Why join?

  • You’ll be among the first contributors → basically “founding members” of the project.
  • We want this to grow into something big, with global sponsors, hackathons, and community gatherings.
  • You’ll get to work on a project that actually matters: climate, sustainability, energy transition.
  • You’ll shape the direction from day one — not just contribute to someone else’s roadmap.

We’re just getting started: setting up repos, schemas, connectors, and discussion spaces. If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. Drop a comment or DM me — let’s build the future energy OS together, open-source style.

Cheers from Norway,

Amir
