Zenith Energy Ltd. (LSE: ZEN) announced the acquisition of a 10 MWp solar energy project in Italy’s Puglia region through its subsidiary WESOLAR S.R.L., marking a key step in the company’s renewable expansion strategy.

The project includes an integrated battery energy storage system (BESS) to enhance profitability by storing and reselling electricity during peak demand periods. Expected to reach “Ready-to-Build” status within 12–16 months, the Puglia project complements Zenith’s existing assets in Piedmont and Lazio, reinforcing its footprint in one of Europe’s most favorable solar markets.

The acquisition highlights Zenith’s focus on combining renewable generation with storage technology to optimize energy returns and support long-term growth in sustainable power infrastructure.
