Nearly every election is contested and all sides assume the other is cheating with gerrymandering and election fraud. In 2022 the US Senate provided Biden a report on how to combat white supremacy and domestic terrorism on social media. I’m unaware of any actions that the Biden Admin took thereafter to implement any of the recommendations, but I’m happy to be proven wrong. If not, I consider it a significant indictment against the former president.

“What can the Democrats do? They’re not in power,” you ask? They could at least choose to come together and present to the people a cohesive vision forward, and they can do this any number of direct ways that don’t require the permission of Republicans or the wealthy, like social media, wikis, 30 minute Zoom town halls, information hubs, etc. But really they won’t even do these.
