One of my favorite aspects of being left wing is how little time I spend in my daily life thinking about other peoples genitals. I can’t imagine what it’s like for that to live rent free in your head.

Trump is an inveterate liar. I think everyone knows what’s really going on, based on most polls I’ve seen. They blame both sides according to party affiliation, but a much greater majority across the board blames Trump. People just want Congress to work together. But the voters perpetuate division themselves. Congress is just a reflection of hyper polarized nature of the constituency. But Trump could act as a mediator and a conciliator, but he won’t. He’s not emotionally equipped for that. He’s not a real leader, he’s a demagogue.

Once again,.a.big problem with the Republican budget is that is effectively bans gender affirming care nationwide. It doesn’t merely stop federal funds from being used for trans healthcare, it ***bans anyone who takes federal funds from.offsring trans healthcare at all.***
In this way it is worse than the Hyde amendment, which disallowed federal funds from being used for abortion. It says if you offer it *at all, in any way, even privately paid, you may not receive federal funds.*
This is a death sentence to every trans person in the country. No access ever, at all, no matter who you are. Ever.

Demand that the GOP show public evidence of this so it can be debated in front of cameras. If you want the Shutdown to end, all you have to do is prove what you are saying is actually happening, then negotiations can start to put an end to it and reopen the government. But they can’t prove illegals are getting free healthcare, because *it is not happening*.
