  1. Also indicted were Catherine Sharp, a progressive candidate for Cook County Board, and Michael Rabbitt, the democratic committeeman for Chicago’s 45th Ward.

    Straight up political prosecutions.

The indictment specifically accuses Abughazaleh, among others, with banging aggressively on the agent’s side and back windows, hood, and other areas; pushing against it to “hinder and impede its movement,” and etching the word “PIG” on the car.

I guess is expected… more. i guess I’m embarrassed i still trust the legal system. this seems like over reach, and that assumes this is even true.

  3. Well this probably will get her elected. Hey “I’m voting for the felon” was the right’s favorite saying last year so I would love to vote for the indicted. lol

Protest is supposed to be protected by the first amendment.

Wake the fuck up, people. Our rights have been flushed down the toilet. You can thank every single Trump voter you know.

The Right growing up: “Fuck the government”

The Right now: “Tread on me harder, daddy G”

  6. She’s not in my district but this would solidify my vote for her.

This is political persecution, and a violation of her first amendment rights, and truly, by extension, a violation of all of our first amendment rights as a collective.

  7. > The progressive Democratic congressional candidate’s videos of confrontations with federal agents have fueled right-wing calls for her arrest.

Well if we can arrest presidential candidates we sure as hell can arrest congressional candidates. Nobody is above the law!
