    I have to tell you all that the GOP have been working hand-in-hand with American antisemite white supremacists for 75 years.

    The people who are neoNazis today are often neoNazis solely because the KKK is a Protestant hate group and hates Catholics as much as they hate Jewish and non-White people.

    They set their differences aside to get the GOP into control of the federal government, and now that they’ve seized power, they’re dropping the masks

    This has been happening a long time. We’ve all been saying it’s been happening a long time. People have called it hyperbolic and yet here it is.

    Nazis are not that savvy. They have not been hiding it very well. It has been clearly this for a long time.

    I think a blunt “they are nazis always were” is doing the right’s work for them.

    First its wrong. It is failing to acknowledge that things were relatively better and they’re going to get worse. The arc has always been there but it is a thing of motion flowing toward fascism.

    Second you see that this is the narrative that the right wants. Since Trump and especially since the Kirk fiasco they’ve been saying “The things he said were just normal conservative talking points, the left thinks god fearing working class americans are nazis” and then we help them by agreeing. Stop pretending this is normal. Americans are fucking stupid. If its normal, if its always been so, then that means its okay. It isn’t.
