  1. So net 20,000 Americans could’ve eaten this month instead of this gf trip? Nice move orange Marie Antoinette

  2. Well he’s only really got 10 years left on earth tops. I can see why he’s focusing on his own desires, why does a bright future matter to a man on a timer that short?

  3. > Asked about the shutdown, which has furloughed nearly 700,000 federal workers and is forcing another 700,000 to continue working without pay, Trump blamed Democrats. He told reporters after arriving on Air Force One: “It’s their fault. Everything is their fault.”

    >During the flight south, he spent time posting photos of his latest renovation project at the White House, redoing the Lincoln bathroom in ornate marble and gold. “The Refurbished Lincoln Bathroom in the White House — Highly polished, Statuary marble!” he wrote.

Rather than be presidential he attempts to shift all responsibility on to others (This is part of his origin myth – never being at fault, for anything.). Regardless of the suffering of his fellow citizens, it’s all someone else’s fault and he’s not going to lift a finger to help, even if it can be done from a recliner on a luxury jet.

But we know what he did do on his jaunt to the club – he posted tons of photos of what looked like a bathroom from one of Saddam’s old palaces. Decked out in marble and gold, undoubtedly costing a small fortune.  For guests.

Spending millions and millions of dollars on vacations and vanity projects, using the people’s money, during a government shutdown that he has, at best, done nothing to solve, and at worst, actively worked against.

Where maga? Where is the bottom? How low can he go before you say “too far”?

He does not care about you, or your family. He does not care about America. He cares only for himself.

  4. Don’t worry, his top priority is still on his mind!

No, not the country; the ballroom. We were assured that was his top priority.

To Trump, golfing is more important than stopping kids from going hungry or ensuring adequate health care for the American public.

  6. NamelessResearcher on

He handled a government shutdown by going to his tacky Florida swamp house to play golf and check in on some hidden classified documents.

So nothing has changed, in other words.

  7. Apropos, no? Not caring, being disconnected, spending money he doesn’t own, having fun, while everyone else suffers.

So has SNAP funding been stopped today? Are 42 mio americans gonna go without any access to food?

  9. Love or hate Michael Bloomberg, I always respected the story how he rode his bike around town during the big transit strike in NYC during his time as mayor there.

Even Zelensky wouldn’t wear a suit while his country was at war.

How can anyone get behind a leader who won’t stand in solidarity with his people??? It’s so disrespectful, he should be ashamed at his lack of compassion. And yet another sign America has two sets of rules, one for the common folk and one for the rich and powerful.

  10. Atta boy! The way a president should do things – starve everyone, take the money and go golfing to pleasure his ego and himself. Love it!!!

  11. Y’all Voted for this. Embarrassing to be a US citizen right now. Most of us didn’t ask for this. Karma will come back around on these So called Repedocans

I can’t believe we’re really just waiting a whole year till the 2026 elections to see if we can make him go away. He is the worst kind of sentient blob, and the Democratic party is useless.

  13. necropolitic is politic:Rockefeller has already stated that reducing the world’s population is currently a priority, and to do so it is necessary to subjugate the poor and undesirable to those who hold economic power.

  14. Everywhereslugs on

And the MAGA mouth breathers fully support 3.4 mil being wasted on Trump golf because it’s “draining the swamp” and his golfing is “sticking it to Washington and the Libs”. Can’t make this shit up in 2025 USA.

  15. Hold on. He is part of the government. President is a public servant. Since there is gov shutdown he should pay for the trip out of his pocket.

  16. Alright, who hasn’t been banned from the conservative sub yet and is feeling frisky?

Would love to see their comments on this, the trouble is getting them to see it first.

  17. I played golf yesterday, lousy round, but I had some Trump pars. A trump par is when I kick the tee shot from the rough into the fairway or pick up my 9’ putt and call it a “gimme”. My round cost 1/500th of what Trump’s round cost.

  18. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of federal workers are missing paychecks, but sure—let’s spend millions on a golf trip. Priorities. Lol

  19. Strange-Beginning-45 on

It’s good to know that while American families cannot afford food and healtchare their “president” is safely protecting their freedoms on the golf course. What a spectacular show of solidarity in these uncertain times.

Wow, these are adding up. Who is the main beneficiary of these golf trips? Which resort gets all our money?
