  1. Sounds like something is being covered up.
And only those who silence the truth tellers are hiding something.

Someone needs to remind heggsie who put him in his position. Congress approved HIM; he (and therefore everyone below him) answers to congress.

  3. Trump is dying and will never be held accountable for these murders.

Kegsbreath on the other hand will be. He better pray to is sky daddy that Trump pardons him before he croaks.

I honestly think this is kind of silly to do. If they’re planning on attacking a different country (or even somewhere away from the pentagon), wouldn’t another news source just report on it happening? Whistleblowers exist, wouldn’t that just get leaked somewhere else? How do they possibly think something like this is going to be kept secret?

(Or is he just taking a billion extra precautions because this is the guy who drunkenly leaked war plans in a group chat twice)

  5. Killing civilians on boats that are traveling between Venezuela and Trinidad without due process is just murder.

It’s what Durtarte is in jail in The Hague for.

  6. Remember, they are dangerous terrorists… but not so dangerous that we don’t just immediately release survivors if we happen to catch any.

That alone made it clear the whole thing is bullshit.  You can’t market people as terrorists then immediately let them go if you capture them

Does anyone know what’s been going on since all the media outlets refused to sign the Pentagon thing and walked out? Are they just…not allowed anymore?

  8. They briefed Congress before Osama raid but they can’t brief them on the boat strikes even after the fact?

He might as well just straight up admit they murdered innocent people, then. Because he basically just did.

  10. Pete Hegseth should fuck off and crawl back to whatever nazi bar he goes to on days ending with Y

  11. >without prior approval

Prior approval not required upon issuance of a Congressional subpoena.

  12. It’s because they are doing illegal shit. They want complete deniablity for now or in the future if he’s brought before a tribunal.

Hegseth is a real piece of work. Donnie always chooses the most insane and incompetent people. Every time. It must be by design.

  14. Congress has oversight over the military.

Giving orders to stop Congress from doing its Constitutionally mandated job and ignoring existing laws seems like an impeachable offsense.

That’s the kind of thing that should get him pulled in front of Congress to testify.

But Republicans control everything, so good luck.

Sounds like they know they fkd up and they don’t want that getting out to people that can hand out consequences. Not that Congress cares right now. They tend to let Trump do whatever he wants so they don’t get primaried.

  17. Hegseth cannot bar military officials from testifying to congress. He is threatening retaliation if they do.

    He needs to sober up.

  18. The irony of being a Fox News bootlicker and now banning people from talking to the press

  19. That’s not how oversight works. He cannot have personal NDA’s for public servants.

Congress is tasked with oversight of the Executive and can bring whenever they want to testify.

    The End.

  20. He is Scared. Go back to your free house on the military base, relax and have a snifter of Bourbon. Like the old days.

  21. Something I used to enjoy was news reports about some octogenarian Nazi being taken into custody after living on the run for decades in Argentina or wherever, being tried in a court of law and sentenced to spend their few remaining days behind bars. It didn’t matter if they were officers of the Reich, or just some asshole that collected their inter-office mail. It took a lot of time, but justice finally came for them. You don’t really see these anymore as all of the first generation of Nazis are either dead or protected by political allies.

My fervent hope is that MAGA will be defeated in my lifetime, and I’ll get to see people like Hegseth and Bondi in chains, tried before a tribunal for crimes against humanity, just like the Nazi bastards they look up to and try to emulate.
