  1. **From The Telegraph:**

Donald Trump scolded Benjamin Netanyahu for killing a senior Hamas commander in a drone strike at the weekend in violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The White House sent a stern message to the Israeli prime minister on Saturday stressing that the assassination of Raed Saed, one of the architects of the Oct 7 attacks, was a breach of the peace deal brokered by the US president.

The drone attack killed four people and wounded at least 25 others, according to the Hamas-controlled health authority in Gaza.

“If you want to ruin your reputation and show that you don’t abide by agreements be our guest, but we won’t allow you to ruin President Trump’s reputation after he brokered the deal in Gaza,” the White House told Mr Netanyahu’s office, according to Axios.

Saed’s death is the highest-profile assassination of a senior Hamas figure since a ceasefire deal came into effect in the strip in October. He is accused of once leading Hamas’s Gaza City battalion, one of the group’s largest and best-equipped.

Israel did not inform the Trump administration in advance of the attack, which Hamas condemned as a “blatant violation” of the peace agreement.

The scolding is the latest sign of Mr Trump’s frustration towards Mr Netanyahu, who he believes is dragging his feet over the next phase of the agreement to end the war in Gaza.
