So this confirmation from the AFP that the gunmen acted alone and not part of an international terror network invalidates the argument that the local antisemitism crisis is not responsible for the terrorist attack.

The increasingly solid argument is that Australia doesn’t have a an ‘international terror’ or ‘immigration’ problem – this is a local problem.

This is a homegrown, heavily mutated disease – mainly affecting Australian citizens – that has been brewing for 2 years enabled by radical hateful protests, radical university activism, abhorrent graffitis, firebombings and antisemitic vandalism of homes, cars and Jewish cultural venues and institutions. And of course parties and politicians promoting this and facilitating this and refusing to take action on this.
