However, that captures every suburb within 5km of the boundary of Lakemba.
It also captures any provider that has serviced someone in Lakemba. So if someone drives from Burwood, that counts. It also counts national companies that have worked with someone there, including those that do heavily remote service (like plan managers), those that sell products (so a shop in Victoria shipping something counts), and those that do telehealth.
Download the full list of providers and just search for who is in Lakemba, the number is lower.
Alternatively, just look at the map provided. It’s a bit dense, but it is nowhere near 1300.

Thanks ALP. Great idea, yet another completely clueless implementation.

The NDIS will bankrupt this country and should be scrapped, the previous state based systems were more efficient and better suited

Whoever spends the money, should have no trouble reining in this scheme.
If I was paying a business, and they weren’t behaving appropriately, I would have no problem reining that in.
It’s Labor government carelessness, and incompetence at work.

I almost think the NDIS is the way Labor subsidizes the immigration rate.
Most NDIS workers are foreign.

Public servants need to replace these providers. It will likely cost less and their primary interest will be the clients instead of profit.

NDIS is projected to cost $100bn+ per year in the 2030’s.
Utter madness.
Roll NDIS into Medicare. It is a rort.
I’ve heard rumours of a physio making $1 million a year down the Gold Coast.
It’s actually closer to 70 providers in that suburb. Not every search result is accurate.
They’ve clearly based it on the search results from here
https://www.ndis.gov.au/participants/working-providers/find-registered-provider/provider-finder
1329 results.
