Would it have been nice of Albanese to call him? Sure. Is it a requirement? No. I’m sure that Albo has been busy enough dealing with the aftermath of the shooting and drafting legislation for the return of parliament this month. He may not have had time to call every single survivor and wish them well. I would imagine that Sussan Ley has a lot more time for things like that, being the leader of a washed-out party with no substantive policies of their own.
