  1. Abduction may work as well… some may say unplanned holiday… though probably pre-agreed trip ahead of cosy retirement is the ultimate truth

I genuinely don’t know why anyone pays for a tv license. How much is it 180??? That’s more than apple tv lol and they spent how many billions last year???

Come on team, you are smarter than this.

Maybe call it a “special military operation” or an “unauthorised detention” instead.

Just spam them with complaints. Donald Trump, the evil sack of shit, is suing them for £Billions, and all they want to do is get on their knees and provide him lip service.

I wonder what they will call an attack on a NATO nation and an annexation of Greenland that will be happening this spring?

Considering they spent the past decade telling me Russian ships near Sweden or Russian planes near Poland was an afront

I mean he’s not a kid now is he? Kidnapping makes it sound so informal and childish. Abduction works much better

So it’s a spontaneous excursion (consent not required).

I’m well aware the guy is not good, but this is silly. Let’s call it what it is.

  8. I mean it was a bit of a crazy operation but I won’t cry over a brutal butcher like Maduro. I suppose sometimes the ends justify the means.

  9. No other big outlet has used the term outside of quotations.

This is absolutely being used by people who have an axe to grind.

  10. This is hilarious coming from an Iranian state propoganda channel PressTV. Again, there is not a “bar”; BBC editorial recommend avoiding that word as part of editorial guidance in favour of “siezed” and also not using the word “captured” except when quoting the US and making clear it is a quote/US claim.

I think with example of using phrases like “pregnant people”, this should be called involuntary immigration

  12. but this sub told me BBC is envy of the world when it comes to editorial independence

Trump knew what he was doing when he sued the BBC and anyone who goes against him, as he can technically do what he wants, without the news organisation reporting on it. Well they can’t in a proper manner.

If you could click your fingers and have this have happened to Hitler before he did what he did, despite an international law, would you click?

I see the celebrations of every Venezuelan who has endured his dictatorship. The only people that appear offended are white people who love a bit of flag waving on Facebook.

And yeah, I am aware that if oil did not exist, there would be no interest in changing the regime. The nations rejoice is just one of many by-products of oil.

When Trump eventually invades and takes over Greenland for its “minerals” the BBC will call it “a minor change in political leadership”

R United Kingdom users using Iranian state press websites banned across much of Europe for egregious abuse of broadcasting laws.

    That fits.

This keeps getting reposted every few minutes. Bot action and activists not understanding impartiality or editorial rules that the BBC abides by.
