Not sure why. They already use inference models in logistics/supply chain management and have done for a couple of decades at least. The only development from this fad cycle is language models which have little utility in that space other than making the customer service experience even more shitty than it already is. So must be investor related. Smear the AI term on it, stock to the fucking moon.
