Maybe if we had assisted suicide allowed in the UK these people wouldn’t be running amok.
Instead if you’re fatally ill you have to spend fortunes going to Switzerland and the likes.
Every single time we just fall behind on other countries and never actually be the ones that spearhead laws any longer.
It’s inhumane to allow someone to suffer when they shouldn’t have to, we don’t treat our pets the same. We’re so far behind other countries and it’s the exact same situation regarding any other laws, take drug laws. We’ll wait until other countries do it and then give it 20 years before even discussing anything.
It’s always a discussion on ‘how can we squash this blackmarket’ and never ‘why is this blackmarket existing in the first place?’.
I understand this bloke didn’t primarily sell to those he vetted that were terminally ill so fuck him, but if we had an actual system set up it would catch out these people that are after these products and get them the help they actually need instead of just skirting around them.
He’s just a byproduct of our governments failures.

what might the “substance” be?
