  1. “Several Reform UK councils have unveiled plans for above-inflation council tax rises as well as reductions in investment and service cuts, prompting accusations that the party is “betraying” residents.

Four Reform-led local authorities have so far confirmed plans for inflation-busting council tax increases.

Other proposals for 2026-27 include the closure of household waste and recycling centres, cuts to winter gritting and school crossing patrol budgets, selling off cultural assets and new parking charges.”

  2. Wait, what but Nigel said the Reform councils would save loads of cash by stopping wasteful spending and reduce council tax. What happened guys where did it all go wrong.

  3. This can’t be right they said they wouldn’t increase taxes they’d just cut the rubbish out! They’d not lie or be naive right ?

Reform will sort it don’t worry folks.

Being the opposition is great you can make great promises you will never keep.

What happened to the ‘we’ll cut your taxes!!!’ promise

If i’m going to have lying idiots in charge, i’d rather have semi competent liars than reform, thanks

Reform cutting services is exactly what they said they’d do.

    Now they’re doing it.

Let’s see how their stupid spunk-trumpet supporters who need those services respond…

  7. Good the more people just see what kind of “leaders” Farage is offering the UK the better.

Better this fuckfest happens at the council level and not parliment.

Wouldn’t be surprised if most of them coming in thought they’d easily save billions and balance the budget by slashing various imagined DEI programs only to find out the actual spending on those is a rounding error’s worth. Reminder the average person thinks foreign aid is anywhere between 10% to 20% of the whole budget when it’s actually 0.3%

  9. Their policies beyond racism are fairly awful. From Ukraine to reducing workers rights, I genuinely wonder if Reform voters know they are voting for anything outside immigration topics. It’s alarmingly similar to Trump’s policies in the US that hit his voters the hardest. (Republican states are on average poorer than Democrat states and so cuts hit them harder than elsewhere).

  10. Exactly as the reform voting inbreds were told would happen. Will it stop the knuckle draggers voting for them though? I highly doubt it, reform will just wheel out a new 3 word slogan, blame brown people and watch as it’s slurped up by the gullible and stupid once again….

Is he writing a new book, “100 things that will make sure no one votes for you ever again?”
