Brier explanation of events. The SDF, which have been kept alive with US economy and military and diplomatic protection for more than a decade is collapsing within hours as, their main group for support, the Kurds only make up %10 of Syria and they are not even popular among Kurds. This is shocking reality for many but their rapid collapse even before Syrian army can reach exposes reality. Locals are capturing them before army can reach the towns. This all started after Syria asked SDF to integrate but refused for 10+ months and Syria decided to take a small town called Deir Hafir with force but SDF retreat turned into a collapse. US tried to warn Syria to stop by sending troops to Deir Hafir and flyinf jets over Syrian forces but I believe they might be ok with a quick collapse since US didn’t follow up after that and went quiet

Also US options will be limited because even if US, forces Syria to pull back west of the river. Most of the towns were liberated by locals before army could reach and they don’t care about no deal. So it will take a campaign to recapture them even if government forces leave. But the current situation makes it so that hundreads of thousands of SDF workers, milita basically everyone in the organization completely dependent on US tax payer money since oil fields are also captured and it is illegal to trade Syrian oil they got limited options. I don’t think US will like that.
Im sorry I dont follow Syria overly closely. Syrian army=currently ruling group in Syria? Or is this an old video?
Also iirc SDF is north Syria, where is this video? And are they trying to push out of the north?
The description of this post kinda seems like propaganda. I’d be interested in seeing actual evidence of these claims.
Might be a bit too soon to say its collapsing tbh though they have certainly lost ground in the previous 24 hours
