Watch the Greens come out and support this horrific act.
Also, there should be no more “invasion day” protests in Victoria IMO because Victoria has signed a Statewide Treaty, has established the First Peoples’ Assembly/Gulleng Warl, has started the “truth telling” and has delivered an apology to Aboriginal people in Victoria. No need to protest anymore.
Why has the ABC omitted the photo of the Red Triangle?

Tit for tat reprisals are going to destroy all symbols in Australia, indigenous and non-indigenous, so if you want that, keep doing what you are doing: if you don’t, start a process to treat with each other as notional sovereign equals who both have an equivalent stake in this land of Australia and generate win-win outcomes, not compromises.

Red triangle. No coincidence this was done on the day of mourning.
I’m sure all the “antizionists” will say it’s totally not inappropriate at all the reference the targeting of Jewish civilians on this day.

Ideologues often want to destroy history, damnatio memoriae (condemnation of memory.) From Mao’s Cultural Revolution in China, Pol Pot’s Year Zero in Cambodia, Islamic State blowing up Roman ruins in Syria etc.
It’s the totalitarian idea that only by destroying the past can we rebuild society in our own image. The narrative of history gives people a sense of place and traditions to look back to, by destroying it they are seeking to sever that link to that which came before us and may compete with a new totalitarian ideology.

This will keep happening until the government cracks down on these vandals. Make this kind of thing punishable by 10 years in prison, and it will stop immediately.
