    >Several people gave speeches after the crowd arrived at Parliament House, including Hugo Lennon, a far-right anti-immigration influencer who has previously promoted extreme-right and racist materials online.

    >Before he spoke on the steps of parliament, members of the crowd shouted “Heil Hugo”.

And these people keep telling us that this is perfectly, normal, sane behaviour.

Did they forget who we fought the second world war in Europe?

    >The Brisbane rally was attended by One Nation politicians Pauline Hanson and Malcolm Roberts and Victorian Independent Senator Ralph Babet.

No surprises here that the most right wing Senators are at a right wing rally

  3. A couple of days ago, the government called for unity on that bondi memorial day

Now back to disunity, business as usual.

    “Stop white replacement.”

Nice of them to let you know instantly that you can discard their opinions.

  5. Anti immigration rallies lmao. Look at the signs, concerns about gas/energy being sold off, concerns about housing construction, concerns about community safety.

Sounds more like “Working class rallies take place at major cities across Australia” is a better headline. But of course the ABC and big media won’t run with that. They need to protect the government and big business interests so it has to be framed as racism.

Can we drop the pretense these marches were about “migration numbers” and not white nationalism?

  7. Is that what they were?

I thought they were invasion day rallies. ie let’s protest against all those turkeys who turned up on ships & invaded us. These days of course they can come to Australia on planes as well.

    > Neo-Nazi symbols and slogans were seen on full display during the Sydney rally, with one demonstrator wearing a necklace with the so-called Black Sun on it.

The rally organiser allowed Neo-Nazis to volunteer and called them “every day patriots”. At least they’re not discreet about it this time.
