We need to spend less time on trying to take her down morally and more time solving the problems she is running on.

In earnest, it is difficult to know where to turn to avoid this completely without ending up voting Greens.
Yes ON is the classic “right wing” party, along with all their failures. Though are they trying to silence people? No… Infact they have led the fight against that, joined later by the Greens.
Truth be told, the authoritarian component is within Labor, and to a lesser extent what was the Coalition. Think Misinformation/Disinformation, Social Media Bans, Trying to police other countries internet, hate speech, protests bans… I could go on. Labor is defined by increasing authoritarian policies, much like Trump. It is their most consistent agenda.
So USA politics is more like the very worst of ON and Labor combined. Both add something to that pie.
