I wonder if we’ll see the first ballistic missile vs. carrier group interaction or what else they envision as ‘ready to hit back’. They got some past Israel’s defenses, a hit on a US ship would be very difficult if not almost impossible, but if they did score a hit, it’d be bad for the ship I suppose. There’s some pretty big prizes for a terrorist regime to hit in a carrier group.
Though they have to find them and target them first I suppose. Shooting empty US bases in other countries won’t do much good and I doubt they’ll be targeting Israel when they say they don’t want to play this time. They don’t need them going ham on them from the other side as well.
I also wonder if Iran already has some new toys from China, would be interesting to see how those fare against US assets. The russian crap the had did not do too well.
Can’t see what else is going to happen, since neither country is obviously going to invade the other (at this moment in time, there’s not a gulf war type build up of assets yet) and Iran is not going to do much airforce wise, if anything is even working after their latest run in with Israel. Bombs typically don’t change regimes, heck, even capturing the boss doesn’t seem to do it.

The kind of military build up US has done in the last couple of weeks doesn’t look like they are only going to threaten.
You don’t move so much of military asset which requires millions of dollars only to threaten and come back .
A Kinetic action is bound to happen, whether it would be small or large that has to be seen !
