The irony of Trump calling Powell a moron is off the scale.

His rhetoric is often even more obscent and primitive than what Kremlin dwarfs deliver.

He doesn’t understand how things work.
If you believe him, or if you think he does understand how things work, then you don’t understand how things work.
People who don’t understand how things work shouldn’t be in control of those things.

Low interest rates are needed when your economy is not growing.
If the economy is doing so great you don’t want low interest rates because that will just charge inflation.

I hate this man with every fiber of my being and will celebrate the day he dies from whatever natural causes befall him.

This reads like if you gave a 5 year old a bunch of keywords (tariffs, trade balance, interest rates) without explaining their meaning and told him to use them to write something praising himself and his country while blaming everyone around him for things not being great.

I consider myself a conservative, but this is clearly flawed thinking and is reflective of a person whose wealth was created as a result of debt. We need someone in DC that thinks more like Dave Ramsey 🙂

It’s such a shame that the economy has gotten so bad that he desperately needs to lower rates so things look a little better.
It’s even more of a shame that there’s no adults in the room to tell him how monetary policy actually works.
“National security”? Come on.

Trump needs lower interest rates to make up for his shitty monetary policies, which there is none. He is tanking the dollar and pushing a lot of investors into metals and away from bonds. His interest payments on US deficit is rising daily due to his non austerity programs like tax cuts and increase defense budget. I have never seen a Republican “non tax and spend”president this demented in my life next to Reagan.
