This is where this entire article is based on. You would expect there’s more than just “we’ve been informed”? Informed by who, why phrase it that way? Why not just state it as a fact? Feels like someone is making up a story to ride a popularity wave but afraid enough for being called out so they go with “someone told me that” for deniability.
