This was never about immigration enforcement. Obama achieved far higher deportation numbers on 1/3 of the budget and there was reported 24 deaths totals across 4 years versus 23 and counting in Trump’s first year in his 2nd term.
Given what happened in Georgia, Pam Bondi’s threat to Walz demanding voter rolls and information (within hours after Alex Pretti was killed) and them being shut down in Oregon, THIS is Trump’s plan to steal 2026 midterms and 2028 election (if he doesn’t die).
ICE is a cruelness and violence campaign, beefed up in funding (especially now courts booted National Guard), as a data extraction operation across numerous battle ground states. This is mafia tactics in plain sight and perversion of federal power. But of all of his crimes, his attack on our elections and Democracy are the most important. We cannot return to normalcy in this country if we do not have faith in our elections. I will not sit back and let Trump and MAGA destroy Democracy. If they go for elections, things will get very ugly in the USA. Things will be violent. We will see another Civil War. That may be what the Republicans wanted all along, but if they go for fair elections – they will get the war they want.
