The only preparation is to keep going with Carney’s masterful plan of diversifying trade partners and keeping our heads down. Add to that just motor though some of the more ambitious projects at home (like a port in Churchill).. As usually seen, there’s a filp-flopping TACO that can’t be reliably believed for what comes next, so there is not a solid ‘preparation’ other than what we are already doing and have planned to do.

By freeing up trade with other partners, like we’ve been doing. By our media not demonizing nations on the other side of the world when we have their equal on our doorstep. By investigating those who are actively working against their country by courting foreign actors to aid them in fracturing the nation.Â

* Continue diversifying trade partners
* Start working on alternatives to US Big Tech
* Expand infrastructure to allow us to grow economically and physically.
Provincial level:
* Support Buy Canadian initiative for infrastructure projects
* Provide funding for Public Services and don’t sell them off to US companies
* Start working on alternatives to US Big Tech
Individual level:
* Buy Canadian When ever Possible.
* Don’t Travel to the US
* When You can’t buy Canadian look to products by trading partners that are also fighting the USA
* Avoid buying US products when ever possible
* Support Governments Buy Canadian movements, and ASK if Buy Canadian is part of your city, province, and National programs that you read about or are involved in.
