I wouldn’t care as much about being unemployed if I actually owned something and could focus on my own labor instead, but that’s just unaffordable too.

That’s the thing that gets me. They give no credit to the system that holds up this business first culture. I’ve been approached multiple times at work about people who believe pure capitalist system and a free market (not that one actually exists) would do a better job. I see the job it’s doing and how I’m treated as a wage laborer and can say this ain’t it dawg.
