  1. GORDON Brown has released a statement after the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

The former prime minister, who previously called for the disgraced ex-prince to be interviewed by police, confirmed he has submitted a “five-page memorandum” to a number of police constabularies which provides “new and additional information” to that which he has already given.

Brown had already submitted information to police authorities relating to former US ambassador Peter Mandelson, and has also called on police to “urgently” re-examine claims that women or girls were trafficked to UK airports on Epstein’s private jet.

Andrew has been under renewed scrutiny since the publication of the Epstein Files in the US, which suggested he had leaked the convicted paedophile sensitive government documents while trade envoy.

On Thursday morning, plain-clothes officers were seen outside Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, where the former prince has been living.

It is understood searches are still being carried out at the time of writing.

In a statement on Thursday afternoon, Brown said: “I have submitted a five-page memorandum to the Metropolitan, Surrey, Sussex, Thames Valley and other relevant UK police constabularies.

“This memorandum provides new and additional information to that which I submitted last week to the Met, Essex and Thames Valley police forces where I expressed my concern that we secure justice for trafficked girls and women.”

Someone started taking a stand, and is taking the time to go through those files.
Gordon Brown returning to his journalistic days.

  4. “This memorandum provides new and additional information to that which I submitted last week to the Met, Essex and Thames Valley police forces where I expressed my concern that **we secure justice for trafficked girls and women**.”

Has he been the only high profile figure to actually do so publicly in relation to Andrew?
