Was this assignment left completed on the editors desk for a year?
Hardly a newsworthy piece. If you didn’t already know about this it’s because you tried very hard not to know.

  2. If anyone still thinks the US is a friend or ally, they need to give their head a shake.

Never give a penny or a second of your time to the Americans. Not now, and not in twenty years. Elbows up.

  3. I think Mark Carney’s Davos speech should have told anyone in the US who watched it, exactly how things are going to go. And its happening now. And its going to get worse for the US.

  4. I was always in the opinion that once Trump won it would get crazy for a couple years then it would calm down after midterms and an about face from voters. But after this first year and pretty much everything he has done was without congress with a majority. I now think this is not going away anytime soon, it’s going to be a really tough few years at least until Canada can pivot away from the US that will take sometime.

Trump did not happen in a vacuum, almost 50% of the American voters put him in the White house, twice!

How can the world trust America knowing **those same voters** might elect another crazy man as their President sooner than later?

Confidence in America is probably shut for at least one generation and maybe more.
