    It’s only happened one other time, and this would beat that record by more than a week.

    And if you look at Tucson, which [has similar projections for next week](https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/af499093b3be8a38f2d122082b36940b88d907badf26d9bac8e238cc6f1acc74), it’s beating the previous April 11 record by over three weeks, and *that* record was only set last year, shaving a full week off of the previous.
