Not just a recession. A permanent worldwide shift from internal combustion vehicles to electric transportation. China is about to displace Europe and Japan, and leave the US isolated with a technology others disdain. Once it gathers enough momentum, there will be no going back.
And ingenuity won’t save the Tech Bros when the Chinese take Taiwan because we wasted so much ammo on a diversion only Putin would believe we’d fall for. Given the strategic sophistication and power of the right wing deep state, this whole situation is incomprehensible.
