  2. To be fair if people during evacuations took pets with them there would be much less pets in need to rescue

  3. It’s because Ukraine is a real nation-state where real humans live while Dubai is just a playground for morally bankrupt billionaire oligarchs.

    Ask yourself why rescuers had to get the pets and not their owners.
    It’s the same thing, when bombs start raining down many people will abandon their pets.

    A lot of countries in Asia and the Middle East just see animals as possessions. It happens in the west as well, but in much of the world, it’s an epidemic.
