Except they won’t actually do anything to support them. They are too closely tied to Trump. They know he’s compromised and will continue to act in their best interest so it serves no purpose to shake the cart. At the same time they can’t just openly turn their backs on Iran. They’ll continue to talk a big game but will let their lap boy run roughshod over Tehran, driving up the prices of Russian oil.
