Such a waste if it is fragments they are targeting. Basically burning through their interceptors which are already barely available. Or maybe they think if they can run through all the interceptors stockpile the US and Israel may quickly stop the fight.Â

These are not PAC-3 interceptors.
I don’t know what they are, but they look like some kind of ground launched flare.
No idea what the point of that is, but these are not anti-air missiles.

This debris looks qualitatively similar to the cluster warheads we’ve seen videos of over Israel. I wonder how different they look on radar screens.

instead of firing expensive interceptor missiles at ballistic missile junk or perhaps its cluster munitions would not old type flack AA shells be better and cheaper ?
