Roof-knocking, advanced warning texts and even calls to families to evacuate targeted buildings really undercut the pervasive “the IDF does not care at all about minimizing civilian casualties” mantra that reddit seems to hold as gospel.
Agree with that other comment, too: there’s a dark irony in following up the quote of Hamas telling Palestinians to ignore the warnings with the explosion of the building post-roof-knock.

Since 7th October, they stepped up the game. Still issuing evacuation orders, but for entire areas rather than individual buildings. HQs inside/below hospitals are no longer ‘untouchable’. Shit got real…
