When have we ever let facts get in the way of our president’s intuition? Not recently….
Why bother having thousands of well-trained state department people helping you make decisions when all you need are failed FOX news stars? Of course this affects our defense spending and so much more.

And again, there was no credible threat to our country – USA – from Iran. Such an amazing distraction from actual badly needed domestic agenda items like housing and skyrocketing healthcare costs. If you’re a GOP voter and still think this administration has your best interests first after asking for another $200 Billion to finance this farce, then I truly feel sorry for you. And boy do I have stuff I would like to sell you…

Hegseth drunk on Venezuela thought to apply the same war mission philosophy to Iran…

This article just ignored basic research that wouldn’t support it’s headline. The US is a net Sulphur exporter. It’s a byproduct of refining crude oil and the US is the world’s largest refiner of crude oil.

[In 2025, United States](https://oec.world/en/profile/bilateral-product/sulphur/reporter/usa) exported $428M of Sulphur
In 2025, United States imported $313M of Sulphur

    >But sulphur is also burned to make sulphuric acid – the world’s most produced industrial chemical – which is [used to extract copper and cobalt from low-grade ores](https://help.copper.fyi/hc/en-us/articles/360021354839–Copper-Mining-and-Extraction-Oxide-Ores-14-16).

Sulphur makes all the other products. Price might go up.

  4. Everyone: Ok. So we should end the war?

Defense industry: No, of course not. We just want more money.

You think they’re going to listen to experts regarding these issues? They fired a platoon of experts leading up the operation epic failure.

Trump admin was saying last year they’re using tariffs to pay debt and send checks. Kash fires Iran specialists in fbi. Doge guts intelligence and security departments. Then trump starts a war and they’re begging for more money

Seems obvious there was zero thought or planning, they didn’t even decide on war until a few week ago

Hard to describe how wasteful of tax dollars and lives this all is, because we* elected unqualified, uneducated, undisciplined, incompetent idiots.

    * not a majority but mostly white evangelicals and Latino males

  7. Maybe we need Erika Kirk on the West Point board to make it less fact-based and more faith-based.

  8. We are minutes away from Charlie Kirk’s widow’s next board of directors assignment.

I believe that’s the point in part, to disable America’s defenses and infrastructure to the point of implosion.

I wonder, once the Ukraine war ends, how much will that affect the US defense industry. Because, if you’re looking for drones, offensive or defensive, no one has more hands on knowledge with those than Ukraine. They’re bound to become a military arms power post-war, and on the arms that matter most.

  11. >it will take over thirty thousand kilograms of copper just to replace the two major US radars destroyed in Bahrain and Qatar” and “thousands of kilograms of additional copper to fix or replace other damaged US communication equipment, sensors, and radars in Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE

OR 2 weeks worth of U.S copper production… “Based on data from 2021-2023, the United States refines approximately **20,000 to 23,000 metric tons** of copper per week.”

Alternatively if it is a real issue… The Lockheed C-5M Super Galaxy. It has a maximum payload capacity of roughly 281,001 pounds (127,000kg) and bring it back to the states to recycle.

This analysis sounds very woke. Fire this man and replace him with an erika kirk evangelical preacher ASAP

  13. No one who has this kind of knowledge of the situation is allowed in the White House.

  14. Dismantling institutions dedicated to upholding the constitution is the issue here.

The second is the implementation of Right Wing Christian fascist who don’t care about the constitution, rather supporting the countries Strong Man.

  15. I can confidently say that Trump and his hand-picked cabinet don’t understand *any* of this

You know, it’s kinda interesting watching the U.S speed run losing a war.

Shame about the meaningless waste of life and the terrible global repercussions that will harm generations of people.
