Ah yes, good ole’ Victoria Base, the headquarters of the 1st Cohort of the 7th Legion. Some of the finest Balearic slingers in the empire. Those cursed Parthians won’t get away with this.

I see this base referred to as US but isnt it iraqs and part of their airport? How much does the us operate out of this base normally?

I’m curious whether they got it with FPV‘s or Shaheds. Even though the two sporadic FPV strikes for a few days ago didn’t do much in terms of material damage, it did prove that they were able to infiltrate and loiter around the base pretty much unimpeded.

What base?

Since that single FPV drone attack on this base a week or two ago, people have been adamant that this base is not a US base anymore. But it’s an open secret that the US still has a presence on multiple airbases in the region that they do not publicly disclose. In that FPV drone video, there was a lot of really nice construction and utility vehicles that didn’t seem like expensive vehicles the Iraqis would just let sit and waste away. Seemed very American to me….
According to OP, it’s being called “The American embassy logistics support camp”. From second hand experience (told to me), this is pretty much how they do it. We don’t call it a US base anymore, but we still have military personnel and tons of weapons stored there just in case. Also help the local governments we are friendly with with operations and logistics.

It’s more an Iraqi base now I don’t think the US even operates out of it anymore

Born too early to fight in the Middle East, born too late to fight in the Middle East, born just in time to fight in the Middle East.

Not surprised, I watched a FPV drone circle around this base for a while before slamming into a building only a few days ago. Seems like their airspace wasn’t the best

Can we call it World War 3 yet?

Not only did they radicalize Iran even further, they are also pulling assets away from Taiwan opening that up for China.
Meanwhile its planting season and a metric fuck-ton of fertilizer isn’t moving. Global food shortage and fuel crisis ahead! Buy some MREs and ammo while you can.
