  1. Why did they send out the treasury secretary to say this instead of someone from the newly renamed “Department of War”?

Because the Treasury Sec. is an expert on war or diplomacy? These are not serious people.

  4. There are 30 districts in Iran that will operate independently of each other with the weapons they have stashed.

Trump will put boots on the ground trying to clear them out 1 by 1 . Iran will turn into another Vietnam but worse , draft, civil unrest , mass bombings of civilians and terroism in retaliation. Except now the drones will start hitting US soil and Americans will learn the true meaning of warzones.

At home the loss of oil and fertilizer will send the US and the rest of the world spiraling into food shortages and outright famine. Migrant crisis will be uncontrollable humanitarian disaster. If the US thought the border crisis was bad… wait until the cartels at the southern border decide to try their hand at attacking a weekend US homeland defense with the weapons supplied to them. Better than dying of starvation.

    Then it’s gonna get bad.

The world will be plunged into world war once again.

But eventually it will end and the end of the 21st century some countries will prosper from the lack of competition from the smoking holes in the ground that was their adversaries.

Why is a TREASURY secretary saying ANYTHING about international relations or wars or anything that isn’t about the treasury?

  9. >Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Sunday defended strikes on Iran’s infrastructure since the U.S. and Israel began their joint war against the country in February, saying “sometimes you have to escalate to de-escalate.”

    >His comments came just hours after President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social that he was giving Iranian leadership 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz or risk U.S. military strikes that “will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!”

    >Bessent defended Trump’s rhetoric, saying it’s “the only language the Iranians understand.”

I’m not American, can someone explain to me why the secretary of the treasury is talking about war? Seriously this guy should be talking about money, not justification of actions or war. Am I wrong or what.

No guys, he means like “You have to make something wet to dry it off”, you can’t *dry it* if it’s already dry. Has to get wet first.

So he’s saying that the US has to make things absolutely horribly shitty (‘escalate’) in order to fix it (‘de-escalate’).

Basically what we’ve already known – that MAGA creates problems then claims victory when they ‘solve’ it.

  12. So they are just doing literal double speak now? No you see war is peace and love is hate, you wouldn’t get it.
