How will anyone know that the ABC ‘journalists’ and staff are on strike?

Employees declined a below CPI wage offer. Of course the wage offer was below CPI. Can’t have public sector staff keeping neutral real wages.

I used to be a defender of the ABC, but honestly, at this point, I think it should be shut down.
The whole point of a public broadcaster was to have a neutral source of news, but the newsroom is 95% left-leaning, and the story selection and article bias reflects that.
We already have plenty of partisan left news outlets, we don’t need to waste public money on another one,
If we’re not yet ready to shut it down, then we need to at least ask serious questions about why it needs 4,500 staff, when The Guardian Australia has less than 200 and often seems to do a better job.
