    >”Liberal haven’t been that conservative lately and I think One Nation are probably the only true conservative party.”

This guy’s overton window is cooked, ON is now considered a conservative party while the Liberals “haven’t been that conservative”.

Among other concerns cited by Ms Hamilton were the state’s algal bloom, renewable energy and climate change, which she described as “absolute BS”.

Holy fuck, I just can’t with these people. They want us to listen to their concerns but how can you talk to people who are literally not living in reality.

What the fuck does she think is a main driver of the algal blooms?

One reason to vote One Nation is from consuming too many turnips. Another is having the incorrect number of chromosomes. Another is…….

It’s ok. Thanks to the Iran War, there’s at least an extra 5 million tonnes of CO2 in the atmosphere.

But that’s nothing. The Ukraine war as added an estimated 280 million tonnes so far.

Consequently, it doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t want to believe their eyes and see the weather systems around them changing.

Extreme weather events like those seen in Australia over the last couple of years are about to multiply with ever increasing ferocity.

    > “Australia back as Australia, not so much a multicultural country”.

Direct quote from a One White Nation voter. Racism is all they have and all they stand for.

Because the right in Australia is drifting farther to the right than we’d like to admit. They didn’t eat out of any of Labor’s vote share, just the coalition. Conservatives are very quickly losing touch with reality, and the rise in One Nation is proof of that.

How embarrassing. The orange MAGA hat of Australia, they’re just frightened dumb fucks who decide to lash out in fear than learn and grow as a person. I guess these people can be anywhere in the world, as we’re seeing with a push towards the right. Doesn’t bode well for the future

  8. These are close to the definition of racism. Where rather than judging people as individuals and the content of their character, you use make generalisations based on the “seller” (race).

    Barnaby

    > “I don’t want to be trite about it but it’s a bit like buying cattle,” he told Sky News.

    > “If you’re getting cattle in from off a certain seller and there’s unreasonable number of ones that just don’t work when they get off the truck, well, you don’t buy them anymore.”

    CFB

    > “If, when you go to buy cattle, you choose the best cattle available to help your stocks and your herd, well, shouldn’t we be doing the same in our immigration policy?” Mr Bernardi said on Sunday.

  9. Looking for a conservative option – but not actually providing any specific policies, nor why ON is more conservative / better than the Libs or Nats.

Concerned about cost of living and then opposing Net Zero, and presumably aware of Hanson supporting Trump and US’ wars in the Middle East?

Worried about health, supports party has really no meaningful (positive) health policy. And opposing any and all immigration, and expecting the health system will be… better? More well staffed? Huh???

  10. >6NEWS: The SA Liberal Party is currently in fourth place on primary votes in 16 seats, while they sit in fifth place in a further two seats.

    >In thirteen of these seats, the Liberals have less than 10% of the vote, and they currently have just 19% of the statewide vote (below One Nation).

The next VIC and NSW state elections will be decided by the ALP v ON contest in the outer suburbs, where the Liberal vote has completely collapsed.

In QLD, Crisafulli should be very worried. Similar to 1998, ON could wipeout the LNP in regional seats, whilst the ALP secures Brisbane.

Seems like many of the former liberal seats swung hard to Labor, too.

I’m seeing like 15% swings to Labor – and the seats Labor does hold seem to be even further cemented..

Why isn’t this getting talked about?

Immigration policies need to be handled carefully by adults and not dictated by racist vibes of ON supporters. Immigration is integral in Australia’s future and success so must be thoroughly planned.

Right now, no one can have serious adult conversations about our immigration policies for the future because of loud, fear mongering, racist ON supporters who just turn it into a hate rally or some white nationalist movement circus.

Soon as the word immigration is said, ON will be there to divide and hate so no one wants to bring it up. ON is bad for the country.

ABC radio must of interrupted Barnaby’s liquid breakfast this morning, he was saying Albo has to acknowledge One Idea as the legitimate opposition now after this stunning one seat gain in South Australia. They aren’t even the opposition party in South Australia.

  14. Hard disagree – “unreasonable number of ones that just don’t work when they get off the truck” is pretty unambiguous.
