Given how brutally the Iranian government responds to something as basic as a woman wanting to decide if she wears a head scarf or not, that’s an incredibly realistic concern.
At no point does the article acknowledge that Iran is a dictatorship with a horrific human rights record, or that people who claim asylum from an oppressive regime who suddenly change their mind probably did it out of coercion aimed at their families.
It also treats an Iranian government state owned media channel as a credible source of information (PressTV).
