We will talk when they have a new government. That has been the official policy since Harper was in. I see no reason to change that.

Wang isn’t wrong. The JCPOA was an ideal outcome, and it was tremendously foolish to throw it away.
The United States and Israel are not winning this war, at the moment. It’s unclear if they’d win with a ground offensive, either. And if they try and fail, they’ll have squandered any leverage they might have left, and leave behind an emboldened Iran with no incentive left to resist nuclear proliferation.
This could very well be the last chance to get something like the JCPOA back. Canada should be supportive of that, to whatever extent is possible.
