City leverages wastewater to heat homes amid frigid winter months: ‘There’s enough heat in the sewerage system’

At our plant here in Ontario we rarely get below 13C wastewater temps in the coldest of winter. That’s a significant amount of heat that can be extracted.

Unfortunately it’s difficult to get the capital and political will required to begin moving forward.
