  1. Just taking the Biden admin’s word for it?

    The CHIPS act has been a failure. The only successful plant is the TSMC plant in Texas, led by imported Taiwanese supervisors with profits going back to Taiwan. The rest of the grant money sat around for years before finally being distributed to projects that aren’t supposed to finish for years. That is not a success.

    Investment in clean energy is also pathetically low. We continue to subsidize LNG companies in order to achieve short-term energy gains, with token investments in solar and other renewables.

    China has outdone any successes of the CHIPS act 100x over, and they are technological leaders in green energy with nobody even on pace to compete with them. If these are considered landmark accomplishments in America, the country is doomed
