Donald Trump’s Retrograde Worship Will Tank America’s Auto Industry. Tariffs will protect the industry just long enough for it to decline into technological obsolescence. The Biden administration made real strides in protecting the industry’s future. Trump will slam the brakes on any such gains.

The us auto industry will continue to chug along full steam ahead until the infrastructure of highways and roadways in cities drastically changes. That will take a century to accomplish. So who cares. not happening in our lifetime.

China will lead the world in green technology and the US will be last in line.
