America must break its addiction to fossil fuels. If Trump were really worried about an energy shortage, he would advocate the rapid deployment of clean, inexhaustible and indigenous renewable energy. Instead, he issued an order “Terminating the Green New Deal” and paused funding for clean energy.

What is meant by indigenous renewable energy? Not familiar with that term. Looking up the definition of indigenous here do you mean being generated in the relative location energy is consumed?
The energy emergency (as declared by DJT) is the impending threat of a FF crash as renewables can replace coal, nat. gas and oil for fuel and electric generation. That is why the FF industry has been giving DJT all that money.

Their mindset is that oil works fine and environment be damned. Trump also doesn’t give a shit about renewables because he knows his remaining time is limited and he’ll be long gone before serious environmental effects occur. (Such as above 2C warming). It’s the whole “fuck you, I got mine” mentality that is destroying our country and the planet.
