I've just come across this guy's videos and honestly I've never though about it.
He's using magnetrons in a vacuum to turn waste plastic back into oil and natural gas to then be used again
How legit is this? Could it be a solution to the massive amount of plastic waste we produce every day?

Not a chemist/material scientist, but if there was a way to do this economically we would do it. Presumably the equipment or energy inputs are too expensive, or any biproducts are too problematic
