The Russians have already lost more than the US did during the entire World War 2.
Too bad not all of them will be brought home but are just missing.
They will run out of space in the future.
That’s just the bodies they’ve recovered.
Most dead russians are fertilizing ukrainian sunflowers.
Russian government always stall on declaring a person dead because they don’t want to give the family payments.
There’s russians that are ‘missing’ since the initial start of the invasion but because there’s no body, they haven’t given the family a payout.
There’s even a hotline in Ukraine where russians call to confirm if their family member’s body has been recovered by Ukraine, because russian government doesn’t care.
They should start caring about the living and not the dead.
When this thing finally comes to an end, majority of Russians will either directly or indirectly know someone who was killed or wounded in the war. Relative, colleague, neighbour, friend, class mate, friend of a friend, the guy who used to deliver your post.. almost everyone will know someone.
All the people who used to say “it doesn’t really affect me” or “I’m not political so I don’t know anything about the war” will be hearing stories from those who return. And it won’t be stories of heroic deeds. It will be stories of abuse and poor leadership, it will be stories of war crimes, it will be stories of absolute misery of participating in pointless meat waves.
And their nation will have gained almost nothing in return. Maybe they’ll get to keep plot of land in eastern Ukraine but their economy will be in ruins, demography in ruins, international relations in ruins and their once deep military reserves completely drained. All that for a plot of land in Donbass. Life of average Russian will somehow be even worse than it was before. And they deserve it too.
Afghanistan was the graveyard of the USSR; Ukraine will be the graveyard of the Russian Federation.

Silly Billy unless they’re putin no one in russia will care that they’re dead. He’s literally clearing out entire villages of men while hiding in one of at least 2 bunkers (that we know of) each equipped with a room that looks exactly the same so no one knows where he is while sending 19 year olds to attack innocent people and die.
