  1. Idk why we always gotta blame Trump for like, literally everything. Can’t we just say some people got too rowdy without making it a political Armageddon?

100% a pure reflection of the lack of class from Trumps america. It would be embarrassing for them, if they knew what that word meant.Lucky for them, this is a news article, so you know they won’t read it.

What? The world doesn’t enjoy uneducated, racist, bigoted, sexist, violent, and gleeful mobs? Shesh. We didn’t mean anything by it.

  4. It’s only going to get worse since Trump let more of those lazy people buy their way in. We only want hard workers, not your rich morons and extra lazy. We have those already,  way too many.

  5. I’m constantly torn between two conflicting ideas.

This is not who we are, &, this is *exactly* who we are. In either case, it’s embarrassing.

  6. This was a complete embarrassment, which is astonishing given how low expectations were. I want off this ride.

  7. We have a guy like that that works in our mail room. When things don’t go his way, it is just yelling, screaming and whining. You can’t reason with brats, neither child nor adult brats.

It feels like it’s now a source of pride among some people for America to be known as the assholes of the world.

It’s truly sad, it really is.

The country club is a maga breeding ground. Golf has become a huge indicator of tendencies towards disreputable ideologies.

  10. I’m surprised the writer was able to stop crying about hecklers at a sports event for a few minutes to get this article out.

  11. “‘Ugly American’ used to be an insult. Now half the country wears it like a badge of honor.”

  12. >Put a rope line and a microphone in front of that mix and you get exactly what you got at the Ryder Cup: people testing boundaries not because the moment needs them to, but because they’ve been told volume is virtue. Some might argue golf, in the US particularly, has always been a sport for white conservatives, but it’s hard to remember galleries calling opposing players “faggots” and openly deriding their wives until recently. **What could have changed?**

Yes, what could have possibly occurred to turn it into this? Hmmm, nope, nothing comes to mind. /s

  13. What was going on at the Ryder Cup was disgraceful and disrespectful to the players and the sport.

But let’s not act like this shit only happens in America. Soccer games in Europe have been played in empty stadiums in order to punish fan bases for their bigoted behavior, including monkey chants and throwing batteries at black players. FIFA and CONCACAF have instituted penalty protocols specifically targeting the Mexican national team’s fans for repeatedly using an anti-gay chant.

This kind of behavior is disgusting, but it is not unique to America or a recent phenomenon.

  14. Strange they are lumping these people in as “New Yorkers” lol. This was Nassau County, Long Island. Obviously MAGA country

At the end of the article, the author mentions the possibility of Trump’s third term. We need to keep repeating that a third term is UNCONSTITUTIONAL every time it is mentioned. It cannot go unchallenged. This is ridiculous.

A total disgraceful and the worst of America egged on by You Know Who and a bunch of MAGA frat boy types.

  17. It was a disgrace and embarrassment to our country for some to do this. Golf has always been a respectful game unlike other sports where fans show this kind of behavior
