ICE showing off its amateur Nazism by imposing forced labor on people from whom due process has been denied, in all likelihood. Even if it has been applied, forcing labor is the crime. Arrest the warden and the guards.

  2. According to complaints filed by Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, the ACLU and the National Immigration Project, the abuse took place between 2023 and 2025, across two administrations. Detention center and ICE employees allegedly subjected the four detainees to sexual assault, forcible touching, groping, physical abuse and denial of medical attention.

  3. Aren’t these the people stealing jobs? Isn’t forcing them to work still stealing jobs? I don’t get it.

  4. Why the hell anybody should care about somebody else’s personal aesthetic life choices is beyond me.

  5. “Work will set you free”

They are openly talking about eradicating transgender from this country and these budget nazis are sure trying to follow history

When multiple independent organizations—RFK Human Rights, ACLU, National Immigration Project—file formal complaints about the same facility with corroborating accounts, at what point do we stop calling it ‘baseless’ and start demanding transparency? These allegations deserve investigation, not dismissal.

  7. At this point I don’t want to hear a goddamn thing about anyone’s “reasonable concerns” about trans girls playing sports or kids getting puberty blockers ever the fuck again. We fucking told you they were planning this shit.

These motherfuckers… there needs to be a deep dark hole for these soulless pieces of garbage. Should be renamed “LICE” because this country clearly needs a fine tooth comb and some shampoo.

  9. I hope the day comes again that “just following orders” isn’t a valid excuse. Right now it isn’t looking likely.

  10. I’m amazed more politicians aren’t trying to do a fucking thing. Everyone is way too silent

  11. It’s just slavery with extra steps, which the Constitution allows IF due process has already taken place to find guilt.

  12. “One example of such labor was pushing heavy cinder blocks or metal cabinets across a dorm, taking around 30 minutes, before the detainee was instructed to push the items back where they came from.”

I remember reading the same thing about the Gulags, Nazi Death Camps, and POW/Chinese internments in Japan. We’re there. You’re next.

  13. Potentially a dumb question – what can we as normal citizens do about this besides reach out to representatives?

  14. The Next Administration: “In order to move on as a country we need to come together. We will not prosecute our opponents because that is what they would do. We are better and require compromise.”

  15. Obviously this is horrible, but I’m pissed off at Newsweek for this too.

They name the man as Monica, but I doubt that’s his chosen name. :/

If it is, I’ll eat my words, but like, this plays into the anti-trans sentiment of the news if it’s not his chosen name yk

  16. For anyone who may see anything in the trying times ahead I’ll say one thing. Document Everything. Photos, videos, pics of documents stolen documents. Maybe the moral arc of time sweeps all of this under the rug and we will be forced to suffer indignities, but maybe not. And if not, that little miniscule effort could mean the difference between justice and a monster slipping back under cover.

    >Forced Labor Program

Isn’t there a better word for that?

Something that starts with sla and ends with very…
